ICS OT Cyber SecurityGuaranteeing the security of Operational Technology (OT) is significant to secure human life and the environment. This system controls the backbone of certain critical infrastructure industries such as power, oil and gas, water, and manufacturing. On the off chance that they are compromised by cyber assaults, the results can be extreme, including mishaps, natural harm, and indeed misfortune of life. The Operational Technology (OT) is the systems that control industrial processes. This refers to hardware and software that detects or causes changes through direct monitoring and control of physical devices, processes, and events in the enterprise. Ensuring safety operations is the ultimate goal of an OT system.Why do we need to have more concern about securing OT environment? Following are some of the basic reasons:1. Human Safety A cyber assault on an OT can cause incidents. For illustration, on the off chance that these systems controlling a water treatment plant are hacked, hazardous water may be dispersed, imperilling open well-being, and threatening human life.2. Environmental Protection Certain critical infrastructure industries such as chemical plants and refineries utilize OT.
