Hello, everyone! Nice to see you again! Today, I have a very special recipe to share with you guys. It’s called steamed pig brains. Is it weird, isn’t it? Well, in Cambodia, it’s normal to eat pig brains especially steaming recipe. I’ll list all the ingredients for you below:
-pig brains (in this video, I steamed 6 pig brains, but I need to cut them into half to put in small bowls).
-black pepper powder.
-salt.
-sugar.
-garlic.
-monosodium glutamate (MSG) (optional).
-chicken soup powder.

So we figured interest in this guy might be sort of niche, but this is personally my favorite way to eat pork brains! This is an old school Cantonese dish, and is a great introduction to the ingredient..
It’s basically the same technique as Egg Foo Young, but with some rich, buttery pork brains added to the mix..

I combine the brined pork with a carnitas recipe I’ve been making for awhile and it turns it into some of the best pork I’ve had in my life.
