Wee Little Miss

Laural Black lives with her parents and little sister in Gardners, PA. She is six years old and is currently homeschooled, but she really enjoys math. Some of her accomplishments this summer were learning to ride her bike without training wheels and learning to swim. She is active in her Awana club and is excited to see her friends again this year. She will be starting her fourth year in the fall. She can often be found singing. She loves musicals, and currently, her favorite is White Christmas. Her interest is baking. She enjoys watching “Is It Cake?” and wants to work at a bakery when she grows up! Laural is tenderhearted and caring but also ready for any adventure. She enjoys skiing and riding her horse, Berea. She is proud to be once again sponsored by her dad’s family business, Black’s Water Conditioning and she is excited that her little sister will be part of this event with her this year.

Nora Black is four years old and lives with her mom, dad, and big sister in Gardners.

She often sings the sisters' song from White Christmas. Being a sister is a special part of her life, and she often imitates her older sister. Nora attends Awana at Community Christian Fellowship, where she attends church. Her favorite part is shopping for her family and making new friends. She loves riding her horse, Rosie, swinging, playing dress-up, and caring for her baby. She is very imaginative. If you have a chance to talk to Nora, you will be surprised by her expressive vocabulary. She is proud to be sponsored by her dad’s family business, Black’s Water Conditioning, and is excited to be on stage for the first time this year.

Jennifer Cornman, lovingly called Jenny Wren, is an outgoing four-year-old from Newville, PA. She is the daughter of Kevin and Sarah Cornman and a sister to big brother Keith. Her hobbies include dancing, ballet, painting, reading, and playing handbells at TUMC of Walnut Bottom. Jenny also loves to swim, ride horses, ride her 4-wheeler, care for her family’s chickens and ducks, ride “side by side” with her Pap, and catch bugs with her brother and cousins. Thanks to Heather Holtry, owner of Heather Rose Dance Studio in Shippensburg, Jenny was selected as the recipient of the Chris Sheffield Scholarship. This scholarship is a prestigious award dedicated to identifying and supporting future leaders. Jenny looks forward to attending her second year at Memorial Lutheran Church Preschool this fall. My name is Brooklyn Cox. I am 6 years old. My hobbies are making bracelets, doing crafts, playing games, and attending vacation Bible schools. I also like to collect things that are miniature. I have played fast-pitch softball for South Middleton Steam Softball for two years. I love playing softball. I like to go to Skyzone and Monkey Joe's. I love to go camping with my grandparents. Elizabeth Frankenfield is the 6-year-old daughter of Travis and Rebecca Frankenfield & a big sister to her brother Tanner.Elizabeth will be in 1st grade this fall. Felicity Rose Predix is the daughter of Matthew and Danielle Predix. She is the youngest of three siblings. Felicity is homeschooled with her brother and sister and will start her first-grade

lessons this fall. When she is not doing schoolwork, Felicity enjoys playing with her many little cousins, dancing, drawing, playing outside, and helping her mother bake in the kitchen. Felicity is a member of the Mifflin Junior Grange, where she is learning about good husbandry, serving her community, and the importance of agriculture in our country. She loves attending Plainfield First Church of God and participating in the Kids Club and Junior Church. Hello, my name is Hazleigh Richardson; I am from Newville. I live with my parents and my brother Walker; we are what they call Irish twins! I come from a large family, so I love gatherings! In my free time, you will catch me at our homestead or Raystown Lake on weekends. My interests include animals; I would spend all my time outside with my animals if I could. We have many animals at home, but my favorite is our chickens; I could walk around all day with one in my arms. Swimming and boating in Raystown is one of my favorite weekend hobbies, and I like to take in the beauty of the lake. Avery Souder is the 6-year-old daughter of Christopher and Kami Souder and the big sister of Rosie. Avery attends CCA, where she graduated Kindergarten with distinguished honors and will enter 1st grade this fall. She loves learning, exploring, and keeping busy. She is entering her 5th season of competitive cheerleading with Majestic All-Stars, her first season of sideline cheer, has received the PA Perfect Cheerleader-REC title and was featured in issue 7 of Cheer4Today Magazine. Avery also enjoys racing RC cars regularly, attending children’s activities at church, and being involved with scouts. She adores animals, especially her dog, Kiyah, and bunny, Smokey. In her free time, her passions include playing Barbies, doing hair/nails/makeup, camping, practicing cheer, doing crafts, helping others, and spending time with her family and friends. Faith Cramer Faith Cramer is the 7-year-old daughter of Jessica Cramer of Shippensburg and Dustin Cramer of Fort Loudon.She lives in Shippensburg with her mother and siblings, Mikyla, Kelley, and David Cramer. She will enter the second grade at James Burd Elementary School, where she has earned many rewards for citizenship and behavior in her previous two years. Faith really enjoys cheering and does so for the Shippensburg Midget Football Redskins team and SAYA Shippensburg Area Youth Basketball and Cheerleading Pacers team. She also loves drawing, painting, and basically any arts and crafts. She loves to enter her artwork and crafts at fairs and other events.

Most recently, she started to crochet, following in her sister’s footsteps, as she was taught by their nanny (grandmother), Lisa Fasnacht. Faith is sponsored by Adventures with Taurus and Friends, LLC, owned by her cousin, Adrianna Byers of Shippensburg, and her Aunt and Uncle, John and Alicia Byers.

Alexis DeWalt is the 8-year-old daughter of Alan and Dawne DeWalt. She is homeschooled and going into the 4th grade. She loves taking care of all her bunnies, helping with the garden, and in the kitchen. Alexis played softball for four seasons and has done gymnastics. She is cheering for Shippensburg midget football in the fall. In the future, she hopes to continue playing softball and learning the violin. Alexis is sponsored by Phantom Entertainment in Carlisle.

Payton Failor is the 8-year-old daughter of Derek and Courtney Failor of Shippensburg. She attends Oak Flat Elementary and will be a 3rd grader this year. She has one younger brother named Wyatt. In her free time, Payton enjoys being outside, coloring, reading, and, most of all, playing softball. She plays 10U travel ball and recreation ball. G.E. Varner Jr. Trucking sponsors Payton.

Alyssa Neil is 8 years old, the daughter of Jason and Michelle of Shippensburg. Allysa is in the 3rd grade. She has five siblings: four sisters and one brother. She actively participates in the Newville First Church of God Promise Kids. She is also a cheerleader for the Big Spring Pee-Wee team. Alyssa is a Big Spring Wrestling team wrestler, where she placed 2nd in her first tournament. She attends the Jaxx class for Shippensburg Dance Academy. Alyssa enjoys being a leader and helping others. She has many talents; she is motivated with color as she enjoys doing makeup, making people feel good about themselves. She had received an award for most likely to brighten your day in school. In her free time, she enjoys camping with her family and spending time on her rollerblades with neighborhood friends; she likes being outdoors in her family garden, hands in the dirt, and making things grow and pretty. Olivia Ritter is the loving and outgoing 8-year-old daughter of Sarah and Chad. She is entering 3rd grade at Commonwealth Charter Academy and is a Distinguished Honor Roll student. Olivia loves to stay active and loves to volunteer to help others in her community. Olivia is active in her Girl Scout Troop 80055, where she participates in activities such as hiking, volunteering, and camping. Olivia also enjoys playing soccer and basketball and does competitive cheer at Majestic All-Stars. In her free time, Olivia enjoys painting her nails and makeup, swimming, setting up lemonade stands for charity, volunteering at Little Daisy’s Closet, and spending time with her friends and family. Charlee Wheeler is the 9-year-old daughter of Timothy and Kylee Wheeler. She is the younger sister of her brother, Lane. She is going into 3rd grade at Mount Rock Elementary. Charlee enjoys reading, writing, and art class. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, singing, dancing, and working on her 4-H projects (lambs and goats). Charlee is a member of the Cumberland County Farm Stock 4-H Club. She has a true passion for animals and hopes to aspire to become a veterinarian when she grows up. Cadence Brown is the daughter of Tracy and Crystal Brown, sister of Torrence, and granddaughter of Donna Yarlett. She is 19 years old and is entering her junior year at Shippensburg University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Music. Education is very important to Cadence, but she also has many hobbies. She enjoys playing the piano, spending time with family, and participating in local theater in her free time. She also enjoys practicing and teaching karate at Darhower’s Isshinryu Karate School. In the future, Cadence hopes to continue her education in the field of clinical psychology. Cadence is sponsored by Crystal’s Candids in Newville.

Abby Wise is the daughter of Tom and Chris Wise; she has one older sister, Chelsey Wise. Abby is from Newburg, Pennsylvania, and she attends Shippensburg Area Senior High School, where she is a Junior. While not in school, Abby works a part-time job. In her free time, she likes hanging out with her friends, playing pickleball, fishing, hunting, and spending time with her family and pets. Abby also likes spending time in West Virginia with her family, where they go camping, riding side by side, kayaking, swimming, and making smores over the fire. Abby oncehad multiple open-heart surgeries at Hershey Hospital, and she would like to give back. Abby hopes to one day pursue a nursing career and work at Hershey Hospital.

Junior Queen

Rebecca Conleyis 10 years old and full of surprises. You may look at her and think she is a sweet, pretty girl, but she is much more than that. Rebecca is learning to be a seamstress as she makes home economic projects with Grandma. She is also an artist, using pencils and other mediums, such as flowers and leaves. She is learning to be an equestrian as she follows in her sister’s footsteps by joining the Cumberland County Horse and Pony 4-H club. Here, she attends meetings and learns practical ways to better care for her horse, King. She volunteers by giving pony rides and helping at community events. This young lady is also active at her church and attends Awana weekly.Rebecca had the chance to collect 7 National Park junior ranger badges while on vacation with her family this spring. She is full of surprises as she explores many adventures in life.Her sponsor is once again the Green Mt General Store in Gardners, PA.

Moriah Conley 15, They call the wind Moriah... You may feel it as a gentle breeze or a strong gust, and both are qualities that define Moriah. Both are confident in who she was created to be and willing to serve wherever she is. She is an active member of Heidlersburg UB church, Mt Pleasant youth group, and the Cumberland County 4-H Horse and Pony Club. Moriah spent her summer working as a Jr. counselor at Rhodes Grove Camp. She also helped in the horse barn, taught ground classes, and assisted with trail rides.When she is not working or studying (High School rocks!), you can find her riding her Haflinger mare, writing letters to her friends, or hunting with her dad. Her favorite band is For King and Country. This breath of fresh air is Moriah.Moriah’s sponsor is the Rhodes Grove Equestrian Camp.

Maleah Krall, 13, is the daughter of Derek and Jessica Krall of Shippensburg. Maleah attends Shippensburg Area Middle School, where she will be in 8th grade this fall. She is one of six and has three sisters and two brothers. Maleah is a part of the marching and concert band, orchestra, chorus, and accidentals. Maleah also is a member of the SAMS cheerleading squad, where she cheers on the Greyhound football team during the fall. She is also a student council member and was on the all-A honor roll for the 23-24 school year. This past Spring, Maleah played the lead role of Alex the Lion in the SAMS theater production of Madagascar Jr. Last year, Maleah was crowned Cumberland Ag Expo Junior Princess and has had so much fun this past year. Attending the PA Preferred reception was her favorite event. While not in school, Maleah attends Grand Point Shippensburg church, participates in the Point Youth Group, enjoys attending Spring Retreat and Hershey Park, and helps with the tech booth during youth Sundays. Maleah also enjoys camping at Pine Grove State Park, swimming, reading, listening to music, singing, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family. Maleah hopes to attend FCCTC while in High School for their business program and then further her education in accounting. Maleah is sponsored by ChiroFITT in Carlisle.

Nora is also a member of the Mifflin Junior Grange, where she learns about agriculture, participates in community service activities, and holds the office of Junior Grange Treasurer. This year, she will be in 6th grade. She is homeschooled with her brother and sister and enjoys reading, writing, science, and history.
